Research Field: Hydrology and climate risk
Seth Westra is a senior lecturer at the University of Adelaide. Specialising in the link between catchment-scale hydrology and large-scale climate processes, Seth’s research interests include precipitation extremes, flood and drought risk, and the development of novel techniques to conduct climate impact assessments. Seth holds a PhD from the University of New South Wales, and in 2013 he received the Australian Institute of Policy and Science Tall Poppy Award. He has published over 20 international journal papers, and is currently supervising a small but highly talented group of PhD students and postdocs.
